No carpeting but if there is a room with car...Nick,<br />No carpeting but if there is a room with carpeting then the slippers are taken off and you go in your socks. The library in the elementary had carpeting.<br /><br />If the kids cleaned the school they may take better care of it. I am most impressed with how clean Japan is kept.
